Edgar Verdin To Face Lester Batres At Legacy FC 12

Lester Batres (1-1) has a new opponent for Legacy Fighting Championship 12. Originally scheduled to face Patrick Bierschwhale in the first fight of the night, Batres will now face Edgar “Manos de Piedra” Verdin (2-3). Representing Silverback Fight Club, Verdin started his professional career with 3 straight losses, which included a loss to fellow Legacy FC 12 fighter, Noel Ligon. However, he has since found his groove and has won two straight.

Similarly, Lester Batres started his career with a loss to Evan Cutts, but has since rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Justin Murrary at Legacy FC 11.

Legacy Fighting Championship 12 will be at the Arena Theatre in Houston, TX on July 13, and will air live on HDNet.  Watch as Will Campuzano and Chad Robichaux vie for the Legacy Flyweight Championship!
